Gearing up for Johns Creek Restaurant Week, we had the chance to stop by & visit one of our favorite sushi spots in the Creek! Sushi Mio offers some of the best fresh & full-sized sushi around, & we’ve got three reasons you’ve got to check them out:
1. The Johns Creek Roll
You may have had a California Roll, but when’s the last time you’ve had the Johns Creek Roll? Sushi Mio is the only place you’ll find this unique roll, filled with shrimp tempura & cucumber then topped with mango, tuna, avocado, red tobiko, eel sauce and spicy mayo. We may be biased, but it’s got to be our favorite sushi roll in the City.
2. June and Chef Nacho
Owners June and Chef Nacho will make you feel like family the moment you step foot into the restaurant. Having been in the restaurant industry for 20 years, Chef Nacho wanted to open his own sushi spot to be more creative with the menu. “We chose to open in Johns Creek because we love the community,” says June. “The people here are so friendly, & it doesn’t have the busy, rushed feel of Atlanta.”
They opened Sushi Mio in Johns Creek in 2016, & there’s no denying Chef Nacho’s artistic influence in the menu – we almost didn’t want to eat lunch, it was so beautiful! And Chef Nacho’s creativity with new flavors leads us to…
3. Special Monthly Rolls
Anytime you stop-in, there is always something new to try. Three new rolls are added to the menu every month, & it’s up to you how long they stay. “We love to get feedback from our customers,” says Chef Nacho. “If our customers have a favorite from the monthly rolls, we keep them on the menu longer.”
