Johns Creek Convention & Visitors Bureau (JCCVB) is the official destination marketing organization for Johns Creek, a multicultural hub just outside of metro Atlanta. Established on January 22, 2008, by the Mayor and City Council, JCCVB promotes Johns Creek as a destination for business, leisure, and group travel. Serving as an economic catalyst through its tourism marketing efforts, JCCVB operates as a 501(c)(6) nonprofit organization. Governed by a volunteer Board of Directors with expertise in hospitality, arts, marketing, and business development, JCCVB plays a key role in the city’s growth and development.

History

Incorporated in 2006, Johns Creek is a young city rooted in the pioneering spirit of North Georgia in the early 19th century. The area originally attracted the attention of Native Americans due to the wildlife and cool waters of the Chattahoochee River.

The town’s namesake, John Rogers, a respected plantation owner settled here in 1804 with his Cherokee wife, Sarah Cordery. Their historic home, visited by President Andrew Jackson and Will Rogers, remains a private residence today.

As legend has it, in the 20th century, a circus train crashed in the area leaving the monkeys to escape in the woods. Local farmers were frightened having never seen one of these creatures, the farmers reportedly shot them in a less-than-proud moment in our local folklore. When visiting the Autrey Mill Nature Preserve, don’t be surprised if you come across a collection of stone monkeys.

In the late 90s, Georgia Tech graduates developed a high-tech office park that drew major corporations and fostered Johns Creek’s suburban growth, leading to the city’s official incorporation on December 1, 2006.

Since then, Johns Creek has become known across the South for its bold blend of innovation, artistic culture, top-rated schools, thriving commerce, recreational opportunities, healthcare services, well-planned neighborhoods, and strong community spirit.

Johns Creek Convention & Visitors Bureau
Sponsorship and Partnership Request Form

This form is the first step in requesting sponsorship or partnership support from the Johns Creek Convention and Visitors Bureau.

Because our mission is to drive tourism to Johns Creek, priority is given to requests that attract visitors from outside the city and generate overnight stays in Johns Creek hotels. We also consider how the opportunity enhances the visitor experience, promotes Johns Creek as a destination, and provides visibility for Visit Johns Creek.

Requests are reviewed on a rolling basis throughout the year. Funding is divided across quarterly funding periods so opportunities can be considered throughout the fiscal year. If all funding available for a quarter has already been committed, an eligible request may be held for consideration during the next funding period.

Support is subject to available funding and is awarded to approved requests on a first-come, first-served basis within each funding period. Once all program funds for the fiscal year have been committed, no additional requests can be funded until the next fiscal year.

Submission of this form does not guarantee support.

This field is for validation purposes and should be left unchanged.
