The Atlanta Journal-Constitution highlighted this great piece of public art that serves as a gateway into Johns Creek at the corner of State Bridge Rd and Kimball Bridge Rd. The artist, William Massey, is pictured above with the sculpture.

The Macdonia African Methodist Church Cemetery is a precious piece of history that has gathered a lot of attention by many of the non-profit organizations in Johns Creek. Student Leadership Johns Creek has made the restoration of this cemetery one of its project in 2021, and the Historical Society and CVB hope to invest in the long-term to make this a beautiful memorial to all of the lives represented here.
