Oh, those summer nights!

The weekends in Johns Creek seem to be overflowing with live music this summer – and we are not complaining! On any night, you don’t have to drive far to hear strumming guitar strings fill the evening air. From singer-songwriters, to the brass sounds of New Orleans, there’s a little bit of everything in the Creek July  21st & 22nd.

Here’s 3 Places to Find Live Music in Johns Creek this Weekend:

1. Outdoor Concert in Newtown Park.

If you haven’t checked-out the Summer Concert Series in Johns Creek yet, you should start now! Saturday’s FREE concert from 6-10pm will feature:

Stooges Brass Band (jazzy blend of traditional New Orleans brass sounds, contemporary jazz and hip-hop beats)

AND

AJ Ghent Band (indie-rock combining fresh, nostalgic, electrifying, and rootsy, plus the sounds of blues, funk, hip-hop and EDM)

Grab to-go from a local restaurant before and DIY picnic, or get a bite from the on-site Cattywampus Grill food truck & King of Pops. Beer & wine will also be available, courtesy of the local Hurricanes Grill.

2. Local bands at Charlton’s.

July is Charlton’s one year anniversary & they’re brining-in incredible local artists  every weekend to celebrate! This weekend’s performances feature:

July 21, 7:00-9:00pm, Nick Howrey

July 22, 6:30-8pm, Dr. Jams

Come for the music, stay for the amazing wings & house-made sauces.

3. Music and Margaritas at Mavericks.

Mark Stokes returns to Mavericks Saturday from 6-9pm as a part of Mav’s Live Music Summer Series. $3 draft beer & $6.50 Mavericks Margaritas makes the music sounds even sweeter!
