Ron Hipp w/Carol Statella “Out of the Rain” is a folk duo noted for innovative arrangements and unusual expressive power. Ron Hipp has been known in the Atlanta area as an accomplished solo artist and Carol Statella has played and sung in various groups over the years. Their joining forces to regularly perform and record music together has created a compelling, poignant sound that is both timeless and fresh.
The concert begins at 8PM inside the Warsaw Church, a beautiful old wooden church nestled in the woods of Autrey Mill, with doors opening at 7:30PM. In addition, the Summerour House will be open for self-guided tours and light refreshments from 7-8PM, before the concert. Because of its size and warm acoustics, the Warsaw Church has proven to be a wonderful performance venue.
Tickets are $20, or $17 for members of Autrey Mill. Ticket proceeds help to support our artists as well as this beautiful treasure that is Autrey Mill Nature Preserve and Heritage Center. Seating is limited, so pre-purchase of tickets is highly recommended, by visiting the website
