Autrey Mill Nature Preserve

Winter Programs at Autrey Mill

2010 Winter programming begins January 16th and we hope you will be as excited about it as we are! There is a return of some of our favorite classes and activities, but also some fresh ways to experience the natural world and our historic site.

January 16th marks the opening of two new exhibits: beautiful creatures in "Exotic Ectotherms" and stunning photography in "Georgia on Paper". [read more in section to the right]

Children's classes begin February 2nd and have been created to provide engaging opportunities for ages 3-12 to learn about the natural sciences and cultural history.

Dr. Kang, our exhibiting photographer, will lead tours of his exhibit and share his expertise in photography workshops.

There will be a couple seasonal activities to help the birds through winter and to celebrate Valentine's Day.

And another BIG Scout Day is planned for February 27th

See a schedule of our January and February programming.

Remember - Autrey Mill Nature Preserve depends on memberships and donations to fund its operation and the preservation of its natural and historic environment.
